Which layout should I choose?
Choose Left / Right when you want the front and back beside each other for copying, cutting or laminating. Choose Top / Bottom to stack them vertically. Choose Duplex when you want fronts on page 1 and aligned backs on page 2.
What does 100% licence size mean?
At the default CR80 / ID-1 preset, 100% means 85.60 × 53.98 mm. The slider changes the printed dimensions, not the preview zoom. Measure your original licence if you are unsure, because formats can vary.
Which duplex option should I select?
For portrait paper that turns like a book, use long-edge mirroring and choose Flip on long edge in the printer dialog. If the paper turns from the top, use short-edge mirroring and the matching printer option.
Why does the maximum number of copies change?
The tool recalculates available space when you change licence size, paper, orientation, margins or spacing. It does not silently shrink copies to force more onto the sheet.
How do I correct a back side that prints slightly out of position?
Print one test sheet at Actual Size, measure the shift, then use the prominent duplex X and Y sliders. Adjust in small 0.1 mm steps until both sides align.
Will Print show browser headers and footers?
The print view contains only the finished sheet and requests zero page margins. Some browsers or printer drivers can still add their own header or footer setting, so turn Headers and footers off if it appears. Downloading and printing the PDF gives the most consistent result.
Are my driving license images uploaded?
No. Image decoding, preview and export preparation happen in your browser tab. The PDF component loads only when you request a PDF and does not receive the selected images.
