Frequently asked questions
Simple answers about 4x6 duplex printing, two-per-page layouts, paper choice and alignment.
Can I print two 4x6 invitations on one A4 page?
Yes. Two portrait 4 x 6 invitations fit side by side on landscape A4. The tool keeps both invitations at the exact 4 x 6 inch size.
Can I print two 4x6 invitations on US Letter paper?
Yes. Select US Letter. Automatic orientation places two portrait invitations on a landscape Letter sheet.
Can I print directly on 4x6 paper?
Yes. Select 4 x 6 inch paper and the tool will use one full-page invitation on the front and one matching page on the back. Your printer must support this paper size and duplex workflow.
Why does the tool not offer three or four 4x6 copies?
Three or four exact 4 x 6 invitations do not fit on A4 or Letter paper. Adding them would make each invitation smaller than 4 x 6 inches.
Can I use the same image on the front and back?
Yes. Upload the front image and select Use the front artwork on the back page too. The tool will repeat it on both PDF pages.
Can I use a 4x6 invitation exported from Canva?
Yes. Download the front and back from Canva as high-quality PNG, JPG or PDF files, then upload them here. The tool handles the two-per-page duplex layout.
Which duplex flip option should I use?
Automatic is recommended. It uses short-edge duplex for landscape paper and long-edge duplex for portrait paper. Match that choice in the printer dialog.
Will both sides be exactly 4 x 6 inches?
Yes. Both pages use the same 101.6 x 152.4 mm boxes. Print at Actual size or 100% and turn off Fit to page.
Why is the back print slightly shifted?
Many printers feed the second side a little differently. Print a plain-paper test, measure the shift and enter the Back X or Back Y correction in millimetres.
Why can I see white space around my artwork?
Show full artwork keeps the complete image and may add white space when its shape is different from 4 x 6. Choose Fill 4x6 to cover the card, but this may crop some image edges. White paper outside the cards is normal cutting space.
Are my invitation files uploaded?
No. The selected artwork, preview and exports are processed inside your browser. PrintyTools does not receive the files.
